‘Lights, Camera, Action - St Maurs Presents a Night at the Oskars!
Mark your calendars for June 28th, 2024 in City North Hotel, as St Maurs gears up to host a Night at the Oskars in collaboration with Kevin Rowe Events. This exciting event will bring together over 70 talents from across the Rush community, who will star in 7 beloved films. Under the expert guidance of Kevin Rowe Events, our local stars will receive professional coaching and mentorship, ensuring a truly spectacular Oskars experience.
Filming will take place in various locations throughout the community of Rush, infusing each production with a distinct local flavor. Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of club volunteers will provide full support to our actors, ensuring that every aspect of the filmmaking process runs smoothly.
All of our actors are committed to helping build the future of the club and we thank them deeply for this and the monies raised will help to continue with the development of St Maurs which is an integral part of the Rush Community.
On the 28th June, we invite an audience of over 600 to join us for the Oskars ceremony, where we'll showcase the fruits of our labor on the silver screen. Get ready to roll out the red carpet and witness the magic of cinema brought to life by the vibrant community of St Maurs!"
