St Maurs Adult Games Committee invite adult footballers to participate in the inaugural St Maurs Sevens tournament. We have adopted the Name Emerald Isles Sevens in recognition of the first team to play GAA in our Town "the Emerald Isles " back in 1902 a full 26 years before our club was founded.

We are looking for players from minor to "almost past it" to join in the fun. The idea is to hopefully recruit some players back to adult football next year as we have gaps in all 3 Mens adult football panels.

Its also a chance for players to get to know each other again after a strange season of training in small groups. The tournament will run over one week in October and be book-ended by social events (restrictions permitting).

This is the inaugural event so hopefully next year we can repeat it, open it up to the ladies also and make it a special event in the St Maurs calendar
