We’re looking forward to getting all the boys and girls back to the club which will hopefully be real soon. So, in advance of that we have a “cracking” Easter colouring competition for all the “hatchling” artists and painters in the club. We want you to draw and colour your favourite Easter picture… the Easter Bunny, a huge Easter Egg, a field of Daffodils or whatever you like. You won’t need to “shell” out on much paint, just as long as you put the St Maurs colours of Maroon and Yellow in the picture. The competition is open for all academy players and our boys and girls teams at U8, U9 and U10.

There’s loads of Easter Eggs to be won and the 2 best artists getting an Easter Egg and a hurl of their size. It’s a GAA version of an “egg and spoon race”!! To enter, simply send your completed picture to Daniel Forde, our Games Promotions officer, on 0851287609 or daniel.forde.gpo.dublin@gaa.ie. Please do not send it to your team or academy Whatsapp group as it will cause too much traffic on the groups. We notify all the winners just after Easter and we can arrange collection of your egg at the club soon after. We’d also like you to bring your original picture to the first Academy or Team Training Session when we return after restrictions.

So get planning and remember, you don’t need to be a mad “yolk” to be in our club… but it helps!!
