This year’s Darkness Into Light will be at sunrise on Saturday 7th May.​​​​​

Registration on darknessintolight.ie will open before the end of February.

St Maurs GAA Club, we've listened to your feedback, and we know that a lot of you enjoyed taking part in Darkness Into Light in your own way during the pandemic. We also know that many of you are looking forward to gathering for organised community events like we have done in the past.

So, on Saturday 7th May, we are inviting you to take part in whatever way you want!

You can register to ‘do it your own way’ with family and friends, or you can register to take part in one of our listed Darkness Into Light venues across Ireland and the world. This year, we are delighted that organised walks can resume safely, and we will ensure all COVID-19 precautions are taken into consideration.

St Maurs GAA Club, Darkness Into Light is all about people coming together to support each other and send a powerful message of hope to anyone affected by suicide and self-harm.

The last two years have been so difficult for everyone. The isolation, worry and stress that we have all felt has taken a real toll – especially on those affected by suicide and self-harm.

So, this year we need to come together again and walk side by side to say to those in crisis:

You are not alone. There is hope. We are here for you.

So please, ‘Save The Date’ and help us make this the biggest and brightest Darkness Into Light ever!
